The Fashion One Group, a leading management of digital and innovative fashion properties, today announced that it has reached another milestone in its growth journey by acquiring the premium domain FMDB.com for its flagship FMD.
The domain has been subject of prolonged negotiations that were finalized already in Q4/2014 with an undisclosed but 5-digits acquisition price.
On this transfer, Eric Mayer, Chief Communication Officer of FOGI said, “This acquisition is an important step in our further strategic plans that foresee FMD as a central authority of fashion. Furthermore, the short and well explaining domain name plays an important role in FMD’s new centralized database that will be based on new professional services as well as news-driven content. This development along with new strategies will play a crucial role in helping FMD increase its market share tremendously.”
