The IFDAQ

IFDAQ
Quick Facts: first digital automated quotation system, 8,000+ professional fashion models (active on FMD)
Launch: 3Q 2011

The IFDAQ (acronym of International Fashion Digital Automated Quotation) is the first automated quotation system for the fashion industry, calculated from decisive factors which guarantee an accurate and realistic rating of a professional fashion model.
Mainly weighted by the overall performance, the amount of work a model has done, the worldwide search volume, the IFDAQ also includes a wide range of in-depth and professional factors such as the Forbes list of top-earning models or a jury which consists of 20 leading fashion and industry experts.

With over 8,000 professional fashion models, the IFDAQ lists currently all active professional fashion models from the FMD database.
The web interface features the typical functionalities of major stock exchange portals and is mostly kept simple to provide a clear oversight for the user.
The IFDAQ-profiles consist of various data which range from the typical daily/weekly/monthly charts to the most complex trend charts, combined with many informative facts which are
being retrieved directly from the FMD database.

To reach a large number of users from the beginning, every model profile on FMD will dispose of a summarized IFDAQ-profile for the relative model with a link to her profile on IFDAQ with the full statistics and charts.
Being its first kind of automated quotation system, the IFDAQ has a strong support from within the fashion industry and is hardly awaited by the financial world.
The official beta release is planned in the 3Q 2011.
